Argentine National team arrived on 14 November by flight No. UA801 (route New York from Buenos Aires) at 3:18 p.m. The flight arrival time was delayed 23 minutes.
The final 12 players are Milinkovic, Weber, Conte, Firpo, Spajic, Lares, Nicola, Torres, Bidegain, Gonzales, Serramalera, and Pereira. Except Pereira, 11 players and technical staff came to Japan together. Only Pereira will arrive in Japan on 16 November. He will fly from Rome, Italy, after playing the weekend game at Loreto (Serie A2).
They look very tired due to long 30 hours flight. They will train and play 2 games at Fuji Film Training Center in Kanagawa, next to Tokyo. Then they will check in the hotel in Tokyo on 16th of November.
In order to use digital photos for my homepage, I purchased a new digital camera and brought it with me when I met the national team at Narita Airport. Some of the players took a look right away and showed their interests. I presume they might purchase one while they are in Japan.
My favorite player, Quaini, and beloved Porello were not able to come to Japan due to their injuries. I already knew the news, but some players told me that Quaini didn't come. They might have thought I didn't know the fact. Well, it's hard to swallow, but I have to.
There were many new players who I never saw their play in live. I hope they play well and make me happy to watch them.
