One player was missing on 14 November when Argentine national team arrived. That was Pablo Pereira. He played the game over the weekend and departed Italy on Monday, 15th. Pablo Pereira arrived today, 16th.
Before the national team left to Japan, I received a mail from the team manager. He asked me to pick up Pereira and take him to the hotel. I know Pereira through Guillermo Quaini so I offered my help gladly.
He flew from Rome via Milan and arrived Japan at 9:11 a.m. by Japan Air Line. We took the Limousine bus from the airport to the hotel. Due to the traffic jam it took one and half hours till we got to the hotel. It was quite long way to go. Pablo felt tired, but he looked fine. Here's for you Silvia & Andrea!
The Argentine team arrived the hotel from Fuji Film Training center around 8 p.m. Other national teams such as Spain, Cuba, South Korea, Canada, and Japan were at the hotel, too. Rafael Pascual has been popular in Japan since the World Championship 1998. He was surrounded by many fans at the hotel.
