Volleyball Tour for Italy - Modena
Like last year, my friend and I went to Modena in order to see Casa Modena Unibon's game and meet our idle "Nacho" Cuminetti.
Unfortunately there was no afternoon training on Saturday (19 Feb.) so that we couldn't meet Cumi prior to the game day.
We heard that there was morning training at 11 a.m. on the game day so we went to the Palazzo dello sporto. When we arrived, Palermo team just had finished the training. We saw some famous players such as Luca Cantagalli (ITA), Held (HOR), Marcelo (BRA) and so on. Ex-assistant coach of Argentine national team, Mr. Fernando Chierico, remembered me and talked with me a little. It was nice to see a familiar face.
Little bit later Cuminetti arrived at the venue. When he saw us, he
didn't look like surprised like last year. It was because we sent some
messages before out departure and notified him our visit. He looked little bit skinnier compared to last year.
But, Cumi was sympathetic as usual. I told Cumi about my trip to Argentine
last July. Then he said, "I know that. You went to see the
World League Finals, right? I read the article about you in the
Internet." Surprise, surprise! We never thought that Cumi is
the type of person who use PC. Well, I wanted to make him surprise about
my trip to Argentine, but he had already known.
We saw very short practice (lasted only 1 hour) and told Cumi that we would
return to see the game against Palermo at that night.
